Yea I read about how Philly spent literally twice as much as everybody else this yr, essentially banking on the cap to keep going up as well to absorb those void yrs down the line.

I think they’re in a privileged position, as if they end up having to face the music in a couple seasons, they’re not wasting Jalen Hurts because he isn’t the end all be all. On top of probably having the best drafts of the past 4-5 yrs.

Veach has basically worked to never have a down yr during Pat’s prime because they don’t want to throw any yrs away. And they’ll pay the piper once Pat is done, like the Saints could have done with Brees.

I wonder if he pushes more chips on the table now and risks having a bust yr or two. Basically he can’t afford to fukk up any major picks in the foreseeable future, and definitely can’t afford to give out any bad major contracts if he takes that route.
It's crazy to think about how the last 2-3 years were supposed to be the bad years to retool. I think the Chiefs winning that first super bowl fukked that up. I think the strategy is to keep the blue chippers and hope to replace the others in the draft. If Kingsley performed last year the team would basically be set IMO. Having that extra 3rd round pick should help out a lot.

That LT is still the priority. They gotta find a long term solution. It’s basically been musical chairs since Fisher.

lol was just a freak accident...but yeah he needs to leave tackling to 95 and the crew

nikka threw into double coverage to play buddy ball and ended up taking out Shee…

I still ain’t over it

When I think back to bro’s worst play of his career, it’s hard to move past that one. nikka threw a bad ball into triple coverage, chased it down in the first quarter of wk 4 like he ain’t the franchise and he got a whole game to make up for it at best, and a whole season to make up for the loss at worst, threw his throwing shoulder into the crowd blind af, and ended his best receiver’s season in the process. My nikka did some serious damage :bryan:

Not many plays leave me literally saying “WTF is Pat doing :why:
