Something I've learned from this election is how the Right leveraged independent media through YouTube, Rumble, Instagram, & TikTok.
Liberal media has news outlets, late night TV shows, Hollywood, etc.
The Right leverages podcasts more, sharing memes through Reddit, etc. I know that technology and social media is ubiquitious to everyone right now but look how the Right used it.
Joe Rogan Podcast got 44 million views in under two days when Trump was on there. These people aren't going to ABC, NBC, The Daily Show, etc for their news and commentary. They're going to media outlets like that.
It's a double edged sword because while it does allow the average person an independent media platform, with an audience, it does breed misinformation, potentially degrades journalism, and some of that speech can be dangerous

My mother told me she’s in a Haitian moms group on Facebook and a bunch of them voted for Trump despite all that cats and dogs shyt. They all basically sited policy and moral alignment. That trans commercial really did a number on her campaign.
