Nobody cares about traditional Hollywood/music industry stars no more. They belong to another era/generation. They are Legacy celebrities. Overall, in this era, professional athletes in real-time and in real life are bigger than both actors and musicians combined. Why? because people still want to pay for live sports content and act accordingly. Live sports is a scarce commodity. Not news music and movies, in fact there too much artists and actors out there…we are inundated by countless new music. Nobody wants to pay for new movies and new music Anymore. But most people will pay to see new/young athletes perform live regardless of how expensive game tickets are.
Anyway right now in 2024 video game streamers, social media influencers, reality TV candidates, instagram/TikTok/YouTube personalities are the new stars. And by the way, stars like Beyoncé and Taylor swift are seen as out of touch in the eyes of most people. They only have juice with their large niche fanbases. Outside of their fans, they have no impact/influence/clout/power. Their Kamala Harris endorsements didn’t resonate outside of beyonce/Taylor fandom.

The ebbs and flows of Congress shift every two years. That I’m not as concerned about…. The biggest loss here IMO is that Trump is going to Deebo Alito and Thomas to retire and that to me is the biggest ramifications of this election.
Voters fumbled badly, people picked him in the primary when there were other choices knowing his age and record. It is their fukking fault.
