I'm really not liking how liberals are throwing marginalized groups under the bus because they lost. Not only is it not likely to help them pick up new voters, all they're doing is showing them they're untrustworthy and unsafe, which is part of the reason people were leaving the Democrats in the first place.

They're playing right into the right wing's hands, and all it'll do is destroy any chance at coalition building.
Agreed. Shows a lack of trust worthiness and phoniness.
Yes kicking people out of the coalition isn’t the answer and people who are advocating for it don’t understand why Kamala lost. Kamala lost because she comes off as a corporate robot to the low info average American voter and Trump comes off as an authentic piece of shyt. Sure a piece of shyt is objectively worse but at least it’s authentic in their eyes

Agreed again. Trump speaks their language so to speak.
Too bad. Time to triage.
You first!
Bro went the fukk in :wow:

If you guys down south are so tired, stay home. You did ID politics first before anyone else.

Maybe black people should leverage their political power in different ways.

Yeah I hate to say it, hindsight is 20/20 but if she ran on implementing Walz policies nationwide she would have won. ONLY if she was able to message it in a populist manner

Like me, Harris campaign team overestimated the intelligence of the average American voter. Their strategy would have worked if people could critically think but if they could then Trump wouldn’t be the opposing nominee

Well...you're halfway right. I've been telling people on here for years that American voters ain't shyt and to stop overestimating them and always got accused of being pessimistic :francis: so I definitely agree with you on that

But no amount of messaging was going to save Kamala. It would be one thing if it was 2008, but we've socially regressed since then and America just wasn't going to elect a black woman in the current anti-woke witch hunt environment. It's unjust and depressing but still true.

I mean its more than white people doing it, im guilty of feeling a certain way myself. Its funny watching the latinos become the whipping boy for the entire country lol. But yeah you're correct. This is a white liberal tactic where they can take the mask off, let out some slurs all because they are upset that they didn't get what they wanted. Then they pack up their shyt, move back home with their parents and become your standard republicans.

The problem is that the faces behind the coalitions are not representative of the institutional base, but hence thems the breaks when you are a party who tried not to offend anyone.

yeah, that number's pretty crazy.

i guess i'm out of touch, having a fat bank account, no kids, and buying my condo in 2020. people are down bad out here, huh? :dead:

surely the economy is not THAT fukkin bad
Some people are apathetic. Some are ignorant of what's at stake. And some are completely hopeless/jaded that either party represents them. I talk to people in my side gig to see where people's minds are and how they felt about voting in the upcoming elections. I would say roughly 70% literally told me there was no one to vote for because both parties are the same. Some didn't even know who was running with one week before the election.

As of now its about 12 million people who didn't vote this time around. That's still a significant amout of people. And that's not even counting the 80 million who never vote but are eligible. It isn't trannies who're discouraging all these people to come out and vote. Its something much deeper that Dems have to tap into.

so your point is what? liberals would have voted for kamala, but saw her do a meaningless press conference with cheney, and said no? gimme a break :mjlol:
It was a turn off, not just for leftists. allowed trump to paint himself as anti war. we know trump was lying but did the voters? clearly not.

3. If we using that logic towards Kamala as VP, then what has Pence done as Trump's VP?
