I'm really not liking how liberals are throwing marginalized groups under the bus because they lost. Not only is it not likely to help them pick up new voters, all they're doing is showing them they're untrustworthy and unsafe, which is part of the reason people were leaving the Democrats in the first place.

They're playing right into the right wing's hands, and all it'll do is destroy any chance at coalition building.

Yeah I hate to say it, hindsight is 20/20 but if she ran on implementing Walz policies nationwide she would have won. ONLY if she was able to message it in a populist manner

Like me, Harris campaign team overestimated the intelligence of the average American voter. Their strategy would have worked if people could critically think but if they could then Trump wouldn’t be the opposing nominee

I get everybody is upset but, blacks, gays, lationos, leftists, neoliberals/centrists fighting is music to the GOP's ears. Keeping the left divided is really the only way they can win elections.

Yes kicking people out of the coalition isn’t the answer and people who are advocating for it don’t understand why Kamala lost. Kamala lost because she comes off as a corporate robot to the low info average American voter and Trump comes off as an authentic piece of shyt. Sure a piece of shyt is objectively worse but at least it’s authentic in their eyes

Ain’t no left. The trans activists went too far, Latinos flipped, leftists couldn’t find it in their heart to vote for Kamala and neoliberals and centrists did all the heavy lifting.

We’re cutting dead weight.

It's so weird. Do people think if Joe and Kamal held a press conference and said, "Boys are boys, girls are girls and boys shouldn't play girl sports." that Republicans would've bushed the $100 million they spent on anti-trans ads?:gucci:
Yes. Actually.

Same way Trump came out and denied Project 2025 and had media doing fact checks on his behalf against people saying Trump denies affiliation with the Heritage Foundation.

Some groups need to be whipped into shape to conform to party demands and standards. We don’t need anti western Muslims, tankies, or trans activists. We allowed too much bullshyt into the tent.
