Believe the case was either in Nebraska or Utah but there was this huge outcry for banning Trans athletes for participating in women's sports and if you like Repubs tell it, it was akin to immigrants crossing the border. When in reality, it was ONE gotdamn trans athlete who only participated in one wrestling match total.

so why pander to them?

will someone please explain the political payoff to me? why fukking do this? why allow this to tarnish the party's image at all?

god damn, man. obama couldn't have held court behind the scenes? sat kamala's ass down, and set her straight? all she would have had to do was make one fukking speech, that "i'm not seeking the presidency", and everyone would have understood and moved on we're the same voters who had no use for her in 2020. we would have understood the move

I don't want Democrats to be anything specifically either. They just need to stop being elitist and condescending towards the people they need votes from. It's like many have forgotten that politicians are supposed to serve the people, the people do not owe them their votes.

Honestly anyone that concerned with trannies would have voted for Trump anyway. Most people don't really care about it. I'm not saying we should pander to them to the extent we do but I doubt Dems taking a tougher stance on trans will move anyone already on the right to the left. At least not enough to significantly sway the election. When 15 million voters don't show up there's a deeper issue at play here.
