I think the universe is punishing us for being surrounded by racists who use the economy as an excuse to uplift leaders who will punish all those that fall in the “other” category.

Bernie was not going to convince your people in northern Georgia to vote for him over someone they would see as the same but without that special racist twist that Donald gives them.

I think racism/Misogyny/xenophobia played the biggest part, but we cant keep discontinuing economic anxiety. I’ve been guilty of it myself.

Racism doesn’t explain the shift in Latinos and black men for Trump. I also think the 15 million drop in her popular vote from 2020 numbers requires a more nuanced explanation.

let's be honest, breh; does the average american voter actually understand policy? or do they understand slogans?

therein lies the problem. peoples' perceptions of these parties is from the image they present, and the easily digestible slogans that pass for policy proposals. are we really surprised republicans are able to win that battle?

I predict trump goes fast and furious with things in his first 100 days. Then checks out and golfs the remainder of his term while his white man faction of crazies go wild on our institutions.

First term was all investigations and chaos. He was constantly attacking the media.

So how does act 2 go? On a day to day basis?. He won't be under any investigations anymore. No impeachment shyt.

It has some sort Twilight Zone type of ending for liberal Gen Xer and Millennials who have waiting for the older conservative Greatest Generation and Boomers to die out so they can be the majority for only have conservative young Gen Zers replaced the Boomers and Greatest Generation.

Crazy how Obama was the last candidate dems actually for because they actually liked the message. Hillary,Biden and Harris were just guys they had to vote for in order to stop a literal fascist.

but i'll say this. if the republicans get in there, pass a tax cut, pass a real border bill (which i hope they do), economy seems to improve, stock market keeps going up...dems are looking bad for the immediate future. i mean, now we know that protecting abortion ain't shyt so what the fukk are we left to counter with?
