Sure it does Lol..... Latinos are wannabe cacs. They love Trump's tough guy act. Latinos have been moving to the GOP further and further every election..

But her share of the white vote grew. she got a larger share the white vote than Biden and Obama 2012.

The share of black men and Asians voting for Trump also grew.

Looking at this more and man....there was no policy issue to fix this. There was no vice president choice to fix this. This was simply about the same thing that has happened in multiple western democracies since covid: incumbents getting smoked due to inflation, high prices, etc. The thing that kills me is that inflation has been dropping for months, the Fed hit the soft landing (perfectly), the jobs market has been humming....everything was there but the costs simply didn't lower fast enough for enough people.

I hope people realize that's the ball game. It's basically over from here. Trump will replace Alito and Thomas. He'll add more federal judges. He'll decimate a lot of government jobs, which black people have traditionally benefited from. Ukraine is fukked. Iran is fukked. More stupid policy towards China. And more privatization of government. And Elon with a hand in all of it. I'm sick.

Only saving grace is that Trump will crash the economy if he gets his way on tariffs. Just based on my vantage point in finance....a lot of people simply don't believe the tariff shyt is going to happen. And he has plenty of people in his camp advising him against it. The problem is that there are others pushing for it, and sooner or later he's gonna do what he always does and make idiotic terrible decisions.
of course it's not gonna happen. it was a stupid, empty promise that he made while he was campaigning, because he was trying to come up with a slogan that made him sound tough, and he has no idea how policy works

no one around him is gonna let him put real tariffs in place

Well said as always. Around the world anger and grievance is winning. That’s why I asked earlier ok scrap Biden and Kamala who would have won? People didn’t show up to stop a bumbling orange felon And people showed up in droves to put him back in office.

Backlash to Dem policies of not addressing housing and cost of living

But the backlash is also cultural issues too

All these blue states shifted right
Can you explain this one? Because the barriers to addressing these issues are the NIMBYs themselves.

Brown losing really tanks a lot of these "Dems can't move left, they have to be populist" arguments I'm seeing... It's clearly not that simple.

but how, ohio is red state and he outran harris campaign by 2 million votes and trump's by 1 million

the economy is viewed as bad rn and that perception lead to people falling away from the dems.

why didn't those trump/brown voters vote for harris?

Where do we go from here.

If the GOP keeps their word. They gonna come out the gate ruining lives.
Someone sent me Umar and Nick Cannon bro - like we aren’t even operating in the same atmosphere as the voters we need. Dems are going to have to start paying these cats like Republicans.

maybe someone like shapiro, who won in 2022 in the middle of record inflation :yeshrug:

with the #1 issue being the economy, it was TOO easy for republicans to label bidenflation as harrisflation. they spent her entire 3 months whacking her on "why haven't you fixed this, you caused it"

imagine a brand new Dem, who didn't have to take responsibility for any of that :wow:

There’s a glaring lack of excitement around this win. Even the idiots on here can’t even pretend they’re excited.

When you think about it, they didn’t want to win, they just wanted Kamala to lose. Trump’s win doesn’t even make them feel good; which further proves that this came down to race and gender.

People have been talking about how the alt right pipeline is affecting young men for over a decade now. Democrats didn't take it seriously.

now that the election's over, i'm kinda stunned that harris didn't work with that FTC chair whose policies could have materially affected gamers (which is where most of these kids get their start).

negotiate-with-donors away your best shot at the presidency milfchurian-candidate brehettes
