Are all things Biden has recently endorsed or been rumored to endorse.

And if there really is no succession plan it makes even more sense to not burn that bridge with Biden. Their seats are probably safe as well.

And also... why wouldn't they quickly endorse him? An intelligent politician is going to endorse the person who is on the ticket and IF that person stands down for whatever reason, then they can always endorse someone else later on...

All of this "backroom conversation but let's leak it out..." strategy is HURTING the Dems more than anything else... IF the Democrats lose this election, you can thank Chuck, Nancy and the rest of them.

Of course there's still infighting, Biden hasn't even stepped down yet so no one knows what's going to happen. Biden needs to provide leadership and clarity by stepping down, then the path forward will materialize. Until then it will be a steady drumbeat of chaos. This is why Pelosi and Schumer and Obama are upping the pressure, he needs to remove himself from the equation ASAP.

It's been a while since a contested convention but that doesn't negate the fact that there is precedent. The lawsuit threats are coming from the Republicans as a way to keep Biden on the ballot, they're bullshyt.

I think Biden isn't mentally capable of running for President or doing the job itself. That does not mean he isn't mentally capable of quitting. I think he is holding on because of his ego.

The pathway will not magically materialize, it is being stopped from materializing because Biden is actively blocking it. Once he steps down, there will obviously be a convention and the chips will fall where they may.

Do you honestly believe some of the most seasoned political operatives in American history in Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have no plan or preference for what would happen if the course of action they're advocating comes to fruition? You think they're gonna be stumped as soon as Biden drops out? They obviously have their desired course of action and would work to make it happen, whether that's Kamala replacing Biden or a mini-primary at a contested convention. Either way, they obviously have a plan.

Republicans will definitely try and use any tool at their disposal to cheat, it's what they do because they're an anti-democratic party. I'm just saying this particular threat is a ruse to keep Biden on the ballot because he is their preferred candidate.

Biden has to run for reelection because it's been clear for 2 years now that Trump was going to be the GOP's nominee and we saw what happened when you run an unlikable Democrat vs. Trump.... they lost the ears of the independents and centrists in the suburbs of PA/WI/MI etc... If there's no Trump... then there's no Biden... and he said that much himself. He's the one who proved he can beat Trump in those white towns. You are giving Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer far too much credit that if they had a plan it wouldnt have already leaked and are also way to resigned to the idea of a “mini primary” which is the worst thing that could happen.

This is what I mean about two sides. You’re so focused on Biden stepping down you can't see how what your proposing with 4 month, and a openly undemocratic Republican party is a stupid idea, and not a plan.

Listing three options is not the same as having a plan, let alone executing any of them. The only thing we have seen from democratic leadership is a letter campaign to poison Biden’s campaign and a series of polls that don't show any alternative actually guaranteeing victory.

AOC shyt on all the dummies without a plan last night... it was beautiful to watch and she has millions of followers that saw it. That's why I like her. She uses her platform in the best ways possible and she never gives standard political answers..

AOC isn’t wrong but Biden himself isn’t upholding his end of the deal with his behavior and performance.

Like everyone is doing everything to protect Biden and Biden himself can’t meet his supporters half way. Every knows who and what he is and yet…Biden keeps failing us.
