What you're proposing is that there exists a significant section of voters who would support a vegetative Joe Biden fighting with half his own Democratic caucus over a Kamala Harris with the full support and backing of the entire Democratic caucus and the co-sign of figures like Obama, and I just don't believe that at all. What is the driving motivation for these voters? If you're that explicitly bigoted that Kamala Harris being a woman or black is a red line for you, why would you be voting for woke Biden over anti-DEI Trump in the first place? Explain this hypothetical voter's mindset.
Biden is still considered a normal center left white man. Not some woke guy the right tries to make him out to be. That will always resonate with white voters.

Kamala is a black/indian woman that doesn't have much likeability and would likely have the image of being more left than Biden. She would face the issues of racism and sexism. There are thousands upon thousands of people that will not vote for a woman as President. Her being black makes it even more likely they don't vote. She would need to be a once in a generation talent like Obama to overcome this, and she's not. Kamala would lose the total white women vote by an even bigger margin than Clinton or Biden. And she would lose white men by a bigger margin too.

The white people we are talking about are independent, middle of the road or moderate conservative voters. Trying to solve that problem by having a perfect VP that can provide appeal to these voters and in the Midwest doesn't work when she's at the top of the ticket. Because in this unique case, the spotlight is all on her and she would be demonized to death. The VP wouldn't matter.

There is no possible way she gets to 270.

i heard that the money can be transferred to a PAC. and frankly, i have a tough time believing that hardened criminals and money launderers like nancy pelosi would have a problem getting that money where it needs to go. let's be fukking real :mjlol:
A PAC cannot legally coordinate with the candidate. It’s not a real solution to the candidates wanting spending money. it would cause more chaos because unlike republicans you know the Dems wou

oh look the sky stopped falling….. let’s break into small factions and slip Into chaos to make the donors happy.

This post is 4 years old. Joe Biden is no longer just the safe, normal center left white man, he's now the sundowning vegetable President who has been in charge during inflation and is hemorrhaging support from his own party. Kamala still has structural identity issues that you have identified, but Trump is a uniquely polarizing figure at has massive weak spots. But these weaknesses are only relevant if the Democrats are able to run a normal Presidential campaign where the nominee is able to actually hammer him on them, which Biden cannot do while trying and failing to fend off attacks from all angles about his declining cognitive condition. Kamala is uniquely well positioned to do so.

For example, people have been screaming for Biden to get in Trump's ass on Project 2025 for weeks. He should be cutting videos and holding press conferences about it, but because he has to go to bed at 3PM all he can muster up is this bullshyt:

Kamala could be running around this country barnstorming about this shyt.

Come on man. This is blue MAGA stuff. He struggled to put together coherent sentences during the debate. He looked frail. He struggles late at night, IE when the next debate will be.

This election is too important to have a candidate who can't make arguments against Trump, inform the American people about Project 2025, or show any vigor. This has to be a campaign dedicated to multiple events a week, multiple media appearances, vigorous debates, etc. Everything needs to be left on the field. I haven't seen anything to suggest Biden is that candidate.
