coming through with the school shooter energy
And yet oddly enough, only one of us is championing the murder of school children, Melvin. But in typical fashion your heart is somehow even more shrivelled than your mind, so pay me none.

sounds like the rumblings on MAGA twitter is that Trump is down to 4 for VP;

Little Rubio
Tim Scott
JD Vance
Doug Burgum
He’s going to lose even more worse than he is now :mjlol:

Biden with 330-350 electoral votes, matter of fact make it 400 :mjlol:

:wow: The Warlord about to call in the Goons to give JD Vance the shovel treatment.

i still think this is mostly an act

there's no way that you're actually willing to let donald trump take control of every domestic issue in america, over some 2,000 year old conflict 6,000 miles away, that doesn't remotely affect you at all here in america. i think we'll see most of you at the polls in november

I can assure you it’s not an act. I’ve been compromising with the liberal wing for nearly a decade. But none of the differences I had with that wing were compelling enough to vote for a third party. Genocide and ethnic cleaning with impunity and smugness is though.

I’m now free to vote for a candidate that I can be proud of.

I’m done with the liberal wing bullshyt.

The actual tweet is kinda cringe but the picture itself stuck out to me.

This is the last ride for Biden after 50 years of campaigning and being in public office.

Democrats should be on their hands and knees thanking Biden for coming out of retirement to beat a wannabe dictator. He was the only candidate in 2020 who could beat Trump. Republicans knew this too which is why Trump panicked and got himself Impeached the first time trying to smear Biden before he was nominee, and during a time people wasn't sure he would be the nominee.

Purity test liberals/progressives, primarily those in elected office need to stop whining and publicly support Biden's re-election. A 2nd Trump term now would be even more dangerous than a 2nd Trump term in 2020. Because he's driven by revenge against everyone that he believes did him wrong. Therefore he will use the power of the Presidency to bend the federal government to his will, burn everything to the ground and ruin the lives of anyone he deems to be an enemy. He will behave like a scorned child with power because that's what he is.

Either Biden can ride off into the sunset as the guy who beat Trump in 2020, and ended Trump in 2024. Or he will go down in history as one of the biggest failed Presidents of all time for being unable to stop a convicted felon former President who attempted to overthrow the government to stay in power, stole classified documents, refused to give them back and committed obstruction, from becoming President again.

Interesting. Is it fair to say your assessment is that Trump is such a uniquely popular candidate that it took a perfect candidate in Joe Biden to defeat him?

It's either performative theater, people just going down the bullshyt rabbit holes on YouTube/Twitter/TikTok or just flat out stupid.

It makes absolutely no sense to place blame at the feet of a president that realistically can't do shyt with two entities thousands of miles away. This is a conflict that in its most recent incarnation, has been going on since the 1800's and Israel is currently run by a far right wing Prime Minister in Benjamin Netanyahu. His party, the Likud Party believes the following.

The Government of Israel flatly rejects the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state west of the Jordan river. The Palestinians can run their lives freely in the framework of self-rule, but not as an independent and sovereign state. Thus, for example, in matters of foreign affairs, security, immigration, and ecology, their activity shall be limited in accordance with imperatives of Israel's existence, security and national needs.

Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas is a known Holocaust denier and has stated on record that he believes that the October 7th Hamas attack was an Israeli inside job.

Can't even believe he wants to solve anything diplomatically. How can you when you go over a decade without even talking to Israeli authorities?

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has held his first official meeting with a senior Israeli in more than a decade.

We've tried to fix this with the Oslo Accords, with President Clinton at Camp David among many other things

So, pray tell how what is going is Biden's fault? He's inherited a problem that has faced every US president since Chester A. Arthur, president #21. We are now at president #46.

Until Israel and Palestine are both willing to compromise, they can kill themselves and let their god sort it out as far as I'm concerned.

It's not so much about Trump as it is about who Biden is and the poor reputation of other 2020 serious Democratic candidates.

Look at the small margin of victory for Biden in key states:

Georgia: 12,000 votes
Wisconsin: 20,000 votes
Pennsylvania: 80,000 votes
Arizona: 12,000 votes

Besides the fact that Biden was a popular VP to a popular President and therefore had national name recognition, Biden won because he won the Independent vote over Trump. Clinton lost the Independent vote to Trump. Plus Biden was able to peel off a small margin of Republican voters away from Trump and into Biden's vote. You're talking thousands of votes. These people make up the margins.

These type of voters are your middle of the road, maybe even center right white voters in the midwest or the burbs of a state that Biden has appeal with. Bernie Sanders, Liz Warren has zero appeal with these type of voters because they are seen as too far left and/or socialists. And Liz being a woman hurts her more. They would have lost all of the above states that Biden won because a good portion of those voters would have held their nose and voted for Trump rather that vote for someone that they consider to be a socialist.

So Biden is a uniquely popular in regards to the 2020 candidate pool, and that's because of his ability to court the right leaning white vote? Do you believe that is the winning strategy that the DNC should continue to cultivate going forward, or do you think there are other avenues to the Presidency without having to court right wingers?

Also, how do you feel about when political figures such as Bernie and AOC have, in the past, talked about the necessity of Dems making inroads with working class voters? I've seen people on this board criticize those talking points as a dog whistle for appealing to white racists. Is that a criticism you agree with?

@Worthless Loser is the right leaning white voter. He wants Dems to court him and people like him.
