they seems to be products of our broken polluted information space more than anything

all of them parroted standard right wing disinformation

Explain how this is a Strawman.

After a campaign where the candidate tried to outflank Republicans (to the right) on immigration by criticizing Trump for not doing enough, promised to build the most lethal fighting force on earth, and bragged about how how much Republican support she had (including promising to appoint Republicans to her cabinet), Centrists still have the nerve to claim that she somehow lost because of the left.

She never mentioned trans issues, went out of her way to never talk about her race or gender (even when Trump attacked her on it), and was to the right off Biden on issues like corporate tax rate as well as capital gains tax rate.

And somehow, dumb ass Centrists are still running with their priors and trying to claim it was the fault of the left.
No one was giddy and that’s not why she lost

got a call for three nines
A couple of delusional posters (the kinds who said "ignore the progressives") in this very thread said "The Biden admin
isn't bring us any closer to World War 3".

Per CNBC:
Russia Ready For Nuclear Response

That’s Russia’s response for everything

Strange you don’t take issue with Russia threatening using nuclear weapons and pivot to blaming Biden for WWIII

It’s simply human nature to blame others and not look inward. In all of this, they don’t even realize that I’m not even sure a strictly working class left-leaning message wins. We just have to diagnose everything.

leftists on here was gassing up kamala and the polls, shytting on centrists and calling everyone blue maga who questioned her viability and pointed out that Trump is playing Muslims/arabs.

Yall not sliding away this easy.
I don’t consider myself a leftist but the polls were right. Sympathetic but not a leftist. She did better than Biden was projected to do and may be the only reason a few senators survived. No one expected Biden to immediately endorse her. I was team open primary with Pelosi but I also got the logic of not doing it.

And I don’t think anyone seriously thought Trump wasn’t playing Muslims and Arabs. It was moreso we knew that they were being dead ass about Gaza and not voting or switching up. The people who wanted Biden out were threatened by the K-Hive for “passing up a black woman” which was so regressive. That aside, Harris didn’t run a progressive campaign- I don’t know if that wins given how unpopular Joe was. I just think Dems need to rethink how they engage with core constituencies.

I don't disagree. I just wanted to separate the discourse we have here from the greater discourse.

For example:

I felt dems in NC have done a long campaign on reaching out to voters here various ways and creating connections that seem honest and genuine.

It also helps that a lot of the folks who ran have held multiple positions in the state from the ground up and everyone did will except for Kamala within reason

This takes me back to the 50 state strategy push that came about after Hillary lost that has somehow gone awry.

Dems need to be able to engage their constituency in the ways they want first and foremost.

Then they need to convince voter to have faith that the national party cares to get that done and I think that was a disconnect for Harris.

Probably didn't help that she didn't have a platform untim 2 months before election day
