A lot of his view points come across as someone who has nothing to lose if Trump were to win and solidify a GOP Supreme Court and fascist regime, amongst other things. Once you realize he is willing to sacrifice the next 50+ years waiting for the people to rise up under a progressive leader (who isn’t dragged to the gulag in that time) to overthrow the government, you can begin to understand smooth minds rationale.
