Virginia changing demos is because of young people moving to Northern Va in the 90s as a lot of tech 1.0 companies were based there—like AOL. Homes were cheaper there too.

Georgia may be another cycle away from being a blue state since a lot of people moved there in the aughts and early tens.

I have gone back and forth, wondering whether Georgia is another Virginia or another North Carolina (surprisingly voted for Obama in 2008, but has gone back too being Republican by narrow margins since then).

There are a lot of transplants who have moved to metro Atlanta. They are largely the type of people who vote Dem (minorities and/or college educated professionals and/or transplants from the North or West). If I had to say, I think Georgia will become Democratic in the long term.

What is your prediction on what is gonna happen?
kamala wins, losing 1 or 2 biden states

trump claims the election is rigged and stolen, tells his supporters to fight to save the country, and starts suing the swing states. MAGA protests in the swing states, small incidents of violence. mike johnson starts looking into what he can do to throw out the results

Democrats finally find their balls, and start calling trump a coward, fakkit, and sore loser, who has no character (this is just me being hopeful)

They present all this so called 'analytical data' weeks before election but when the rubber meets the road they start hedging.
The CNN guy who points to polls and data everyday says today he has no clue.
Fraudsters....all of them.

fukk this dude... and kick his dog.

I need two things:

1. A link to the poll
2. Clarification on if this is just in FL or nationwide

Not to get on you, but there is a lot of disinfo flying around.

Looks it was a small online poll in centeral Florida which is predominantly blue.

Doesn't really matter, because Trump is like +28 with Cubans in Florida. Which is beyond frustrating

Can be bullish for Kamala and Allred, could indicate a lack of enthusiasm from the GOP. Republicans are early voting at higher rates everywhere but Texas?
General GOP maybe have low enthusiasm, but they still vote at a fairly consistent number.

Around 4.5 to 5.5 million range.

Texas would need cross party voting. For a state haven't elected a Dem in decades. It's hard to image you would get enough of them to flip party for Allerd.

And van jones crying

"I was out there in the streets today, :mjcry:and what I saw... was America... not Republican... not Democrat... but America. The patriotism that these individual men, and women... taking time out of their day... to vote... to sacrifice their time- AND THE YOUTH :mjcry: young people were out there, voting... real people, REAL young people interested in our Democratic process... I can sleep well knowing this was a great historic day for America, and that my kids can be proud of THESE kids... so overwhelming. :mjcry:"
