I also think election day voting is going to shock a lot of people who are expecting a repeat of 2020.

“Early voting numbers have come from older people, with nearly half of the numbers so far coming from voters older than 65, according to the University of Florida's Election Lab, which also showed that only 5% of voters ages 18 to 25 have cast early ballots.”

That doesn’t sound good for Dems

Are you suggesting that young people are procrastinating on voting but they’ll make up the difference by Election Day?

It’s either that or they are historically disengaged based on early voting numbers.

All I know is young white males are out in full force for trump. A couple weeks ago at the Bronco game some charger fans (young white dudes early 20s, maybe younger) were walking around doing the nazi salute and yelling go trump. Someone threw a beer at them and they scattered off. Pisses me off seeing that and it's exactly what trump enables.

How is FL flipping?

Not mentioned Trump won Florida with less than 400,000 votes. There is over 550,000 Haitians in Florida that he insulted with his attack on Haitians in Springfield,Ohio do you think they don't want to get him out of the paint for that.

and then there's this:

I can’t imagine why young people would be disengaged from an historic perspective. Young people now are more politically aware than any young generation before IMO.

Just to be clear, I don't think they are disengaged. I think they’ll show up in similar numbers to 2020. I think young women will show up in bigger numbers than 2020.

Why not? Most voters that age simply don’t have the time before election day.
If they have less time before Election Day, what makes you think they would have time on Tuesday?

Younger voters aren’t as dedicated to voting so it’s possible they just won’t do it for various reasons. Hopefully not but it has to be considered.
