Polling also showed high favorability for pulling out of Afghanistan yet Biden took a huge hit and his approval rating never recovered. He definitely did the right thing but hypothetically he would have been foolish to pull out of Afghanistan right before the election if he was running against Trump right now.

It should give you pause because Trump is obviously meddling behind the scenes with Bibi.
