She had to go right on things like immigration every poll done shows most people don’t want open borders

Terminally online progressives in their own bubble believe progressive policies would win elections when they would get demolished

She’s had to take back some of her progressive policy stances because their studies show it’s not popular and when Trump hammers her on those policies it’s effective

So perhaps their studies are more accurate then looking at your Twitter timeline and @demhatingsocialist4578 getting a lot of likes for pro progressive statements

Not to go full cac mamba here but she realized when people are struggling out there that nobody gives a fukk wheter or not you can get sex changes in prison. If you’re for that fine but that shouldn’t be a statement you make publicly to run on

Progressives should be happy that Kamala can maybe get some progressive things done. Walz is pretty progressive and wants things like free school lunch. Take those as small victories and stop expecting to get a full progressive plan from a president. It’s not a winning strategy

Have a good day.
You too lil dog :salute:

In the future please refrain from responding to me unless it’s with an answer as to why you confidently felt there was even a 0.1% chance that Donald trumps election to the presidency would lead to the emancipation of black people world wide. It remains the dumbest post I have ever seen on this board and I seen a lot of bullshyt spewed on here

Honestly all of these swing states are tossups, the polls are just too close to say otherwise.

But PA and WI are the ones I'm most worried about since Kamala can't really afford to lose those (and Biden barely won them). If the Sunbelt doesn't go her way, that sucks, but she can still win if she holds the Midwest. But if the Midwest goes back to Cheeto we're in trouble.
I live in PA...I doubt it will be called for a few days after election given how close it is.

Philly, Pitt, and State College will vote for her heavy but need max turnout. Erie in the northwest is a question mark. The light blue suburbs north of Philly will probably make or break her. No one red in 2020 will go blue in 2024 imho

To me it's simple...if Kamala loses, it'd be for the same reason a lot of folks (including myself) were hesitant on her being at the top of the ticket and it's because she's a half-Black half-Indian woman running to be president of the US. That's a tall hill to climb

It’s going to get ugly if she loses. Worse than 2016.

With her words and actions. She chose to campaign in a way that disregards the humanity of Palestinians as they're currently being genocided.

Compared to who? She's the only nominee that is speaking about a ceasefire and ending the war. Who else is? What other presidential admin in history would have not made a similar decision? As israel is technically an ally?

It's not complicated. And I don't think it's stupid to have support for genocide as your single issue. If there was a holocaust denier candidate, I doubt people would call Jews who refuse to support that candidate stupid. If there was a candidate who believes the Confederacy should have won the civil war, I doubt people would say it's stupid to have that as a red line, even if they were better on every other issue.

Yeah...that hypothetical candidate you are talking about is Trump. Not Kamala.

I know your emotions wish that she was pretending it didn't exist and didn't acknowledge it, but that isn't true. She did, numerous times. But if you don't vote because of your emotions, instead of being rational, then you'll lead to Trump. Which will ultimately kill more people you supposedly care about. So it's stupid, and it's people that are religious that have a hard time dealing with gray realities (the religious don't do well with gray realities in their nature, hence needing to have an answer for existence instead of admitting to not knowing, it's black and white with religious people)

I personally am trying to make the decision that has the most potential to control the most damage, and also look after the rights of other marginalized groups. Thats Kamala. What are the non voting people doing? Absolutely nothing. They are actually making things worse, over emotion.

Let's say Trump wins the election because he won Michigan by like 5,000 votes

that would be the dumbest loss since those senior citizens in Palm Beach fukked over the country in 2000
