This isn't a Hillary campaign. They understand this election will be won or lost on the margins of a lot of districts, many of which will not vote for Kamala. But just lowering Trump's win total in those areas while running up the score in major cities is how she will win.

When people say that Kamala is doing a 2016 Hillary campaign, I just shake my head.

You’re confusing rhetoric with the actual process of getting the vote out. No Democrat will campaign like Hillary did ever again. Because of the 2020 primary, Biden had to adopt ideas that were more left than he had ever been - largely because of Sanders and Warren. So while he catered to the center, he had certain left-leaning policies he couldn’t move off of. You saw him try to come through on them early in his term. Harris is running a relatively right wing campaign for a Democrat given where the party had moved over the last decade.

Told you that race is closer than you would think. Trump/Harris is close too.

Tells me more about continued bad polling (even internally) than anything tangible. I don't buy that race being close at all given the voter registration purges in the state, the fact that Trump got around 66% of the white vote in 2020, and Kamala's (slight) under performance with Hispanics so far.

I honestly don't know.

I would prefer the truest polls that are the most reflective of reality but many things are showing things
either being close or Harris losing.

If someone has something that shows definitive proof she'll win, I'm down to see it.
