The 2022 midterms weren't run on the strength of the bipartisan bills Biden signed, they were run on the fear of Republicans banning abortion. And the Democrats still lost the House.
I don't expect Kamala to stray too far away from Bidens foreign policy, at least while she is still the VP.
It's a good strategic move to play it like that......don't want to sound too cynical, but yeah, what they want from that question is for her to really lean into the racism, and she won't. She knows what it is. People know what it is. She wants to avoid all the clips like "Playing the race card".
