They could appeal to the Supreme Court and say the case cannot move forward because he's the President. The Supreme Court would agree and say that any sentencing would have to be enforced after he leaves office.

So then you would have Trump trying to stay in office to avoid possibly being sentenced to jail or home confinement.

You can’t deny the fact that we need increased funding for border patrol agents, more funding for technology based initiatives that prevent illegal border crossings, and the ability to fix the unquestionably broken and inefficient asylum system.

Open borders and open air drug market? Your post didn't deserve a serious answer. You're just parroting Republican talking points because Democrats copy and pasted Republican immigration plan.

We already had an inefficient asylum system which Republicans love because it's a wedge issue and provides cheap undocumented labor. Instead of attempting to remedy that or at least get ahead on messaging Biden just continued Trump/Stephen Miller immigration policies, same way he continued Trump/Kushner Middle East policies.

Biden continued with Trump's Title 42. He continued Trump's Chinese visa ban (in 2016 2.2 million temporary visas were granted to Chinese citizens in 2022 only 160,000 were granted). Continued Trump's increased sanctions on Venezuela, lifted briefly and returned again last month, and protected status for Venezuelan citizens. Created a broken app to stop people from seeking asylum, created a rule that people have to seek asylum from countries they pass through before getting to US. Biden did all that shyt just for people to still end up thinking that he's too liberal on immigration.

And I won't even get started on the way Biden's dealt with, or rather not dealt with, states that are shipping out immigrants to across the US.

Retaliation is one thing. Systemic ethnic cleansing and providing the weapons and cover to do it is another. If Biden loses Michigan because Muslims stay home it's his own fault. "supporting allies" is never a yes/no question - israel is going to retaliate because they had to. zero timetables, conditions on support, review of the failures within IDF that let it happen, along with objectively horrible kill-em-alls from israeli gov reps, etc should've been deliberately addressed instead of essentially cheering it on with the dead babies moments and actively twisting the UN security council's purpose against itself

at the end of the day, biden's admin was well aware of how this would impact their base and they knew it immediately when long-time administrators quit citing causes anyone could see. hell, the main reason they're easing back now isn't because of a battlefield situation changing but because of battleground states. at the same time, the fact there's no legitimate photo ops of us forces and idf hand in hand speaks volumes too.
