It doesn't matter because the media focus won't be on Trump's mental weakness or his speeches. It will be on Harris.
Those white union people that would vote for Biden WILL NOT vote for Harris. You have to understand, Biden goes back 50 years with union people. His roots run deep. They don't know Harris, plus she's a minority woman. They will go to Trump or vote 3rd party.

So after Biden endorsed Harris the union will say nah we still don’t trust you? Especially after Trump just said fain should be fired? We’ll lose a couple sexists and racists but they’ll be fine

Sounds like Shawn Fain needs to get his folks in line, endorse whoever the nominee is, reach out to local teamsters and have Biden and other dems reinforce
The media will also however focus on whatever fukkery and baggage Trump brings - convictions, sentencing, etc.
There’s also the first woman President narrative media will certainly embrace with Harris, which is alone enough to motivate large swaths of voters - in an election all about reproductive rights no less. Dont forget about influencers like Taylor Swift who will happily get behind her and bring in tons of young first time voters. Biden brought Bruce Springsteen, Harris brings a world of possibilities

Harris brings a landslide defeat and Democrat tears for the next 4 years while Trump burns down the country.
She has zero appeal needed to win Independent and/or moderate white conservative vote. They are critical to winning elections.
