I don't think NC is on the table. The Research Triangle won't have the numbers to overcome the rural surge for Trump.

It's wild how inelastic the electoral map is becoming. Climate change migration is going to be the next thing that alters that map significantly.
Nc voter id law also in affect, plus other actions to make voting difficult both in person and absentee

You can tell he's legitimate disgusted by trump.

He's gonna call him a piece of shyt at some point 😂

“At his rally, he jokes about an intruder, whipped up by the Big Trump Lie, taking a hammer to Paul Pelosi’s skull,” Biden said.

“And he thinks that’s funny,” the president continued. “He laughed about it. What a sick …”

Biden let his voice trail off as the crowd cheered and chuckled.

In private, he doesn’t stop short.

The president has described Trump to longtime friends and close aides as a “sick fukk” who delights in others’ misfortunes, according to three people who have heard the president use the profane description. According to one of the people who has spoken with the president, Biden recently said of Trump: “What a fukking a$$hole the guy is.”

He should've been saying this for the last year. These mfers are worse than the oil companies nowadays.

100%. He should have been unable to shut up about it. Driven it home since 2022. Too much of the victory lap, I think.

Read a great op-ed in the Times this week about the power of Clinton's 2012 DNC speech,. and how that kind of message has been missing from the Biden admin. Depsite Biden himself being a strong messanger with strong credentials, on blue collar issues, as opposed to Obama's kind of academic elite aloofness, perceived or otherwise, and Trump just chewing the scenery.

I do think the likeliest scenario is the same exact map as 2020, for what that's worth.

One thing that won't be seen, is the local/state elections, as with Trump being the nominee unless something happens, you will have some Non-Trump Republicans having to answer about Trump albeit with less of a warchest because their party funding Trump's legal.

Not to mention the Democrats spending all their money promoting early voting/absentee, as to shore up attacks ads for the last quarter leading up to Nov.
