NEW Morning Consult poll shows warning signs for Trump. 49% of Independents and 15% of Republicans want Trump to drop out of the presidential race. 54%of registered voters approve of the guilty verdict. Only 34% disapprove.


Any media pundit or person saying 34 Felony Convictions during an Election won't "Hurt" Trump is delusional because indepedents will not like the convictions on his record. The GOP Convention is their last chance to do something. The numbers will continue to drop with Independents as Sentencing approaches. A matter fact expect more "Drop Out" Calls in the media to increase in the coming weeks.

I agree, I believe serious people will not only take into account what his new felony jacket will do to the office of the president as a matter of symbolism. They'll also accept the fact that this could happen multiple more times in the next 2 years.

The next month will be "Will Trump get Jail, Probation, House Arrest, Ankle monitors etc". Sure he can survive this with his base, everyone else, not so much. Again they are trying to put their best spin on it but it's a matter of principle. Anyone else would had to drop out the race immediately after a verdict like that.
