Cup games have generally been competitive but next year let's just have the games in the home arenas

This atmosphere would be so much better in OKC or Milwaukee's arena then right now

By far the biggest positive to come from this thing is the competitiveness. Players and teams genuinely give a damn. That's all you can ask for as a fan.

Which is fine, I get it they wanted to make an event out of it and feel putting in Vegas accomplishes that more than just home arenas

But also, the downside is unless one of the California teams or maybe the Suns are playing, what type of crowd atmosphere do you expect to have. How many Milwaukee or OKC fans do you expect to fly down there on short notice?
