Blue jays manager John Schneider ( under the influence and by order of the GMs Atkins/Shapiro I might add) pulled the same move last year in game 2 of the wildcard series against the Minnesota Twins, at Minneapolis/St-Paul.
Jose Berrios( former twins pitcher )was dominant on the mound and was cooking the twins hitting lineup but was inexplicably yanked after 4 full strong innings. He wasn’t tired at all, which made the logic behind the decision baffling.
