Kendrick's year is still tame in comparison to Pac's 96. He'd have to get gunned down on the Dubai strip to compare to Pac in 96 at this point. He's had one of the best rapper years in history, but it ain't nowhere close to 1996 Pac.

AEOM sold 3 million in the span of a few months (which equaled to 6x platinum for a double album)
Makaveli went platinum in a month
AND he filmed 2 movies in 1 year...

But what Kendrick did was incredible. GNX and Not like us is breaking records. It's difficult to compare eras because the music industry is so different now.
