It was his fault that he got redistricted out in 2022? He ended up running in an entirely new district.
The re-drawn district was still majority his old district. But instead of contesting the primary against a very beatable opponent, he deserted his constituents and tried to carpetbag in NYC, even tho he was always an upstate politician. And then he didn’t even get 20% in NYC and came crawling back to his old district smh.

It was a lose-lose. Either go against DNC leadership who declared he was running in that district or go against another brother.

One thing he's been doing is going to the rural areas to try to reduce the margins. Hopefully it pays off; cast my vote for him yesterday and have seen his signs in areas that surprised me.
My boys even the CACs I'm still cool with in Missouri feel the Hawley by just having an R next to his name is going to carry him over. It's still really close, but that is where they think the D stigma is going to hurt him in the booth despite all his efforts. And despite Hawley being such a Ted Cruz like bland wannabe.
