Terrible timing for them considering that the Bills have an easy three game schedule and could theoretically still catch them for the #1 seed.

Might be worth losing the #1 seed if it means getting Mahomes to the playoffs as healthy as possible. They better hope that Wentz still has something left in the tank.
This would be the right move, even if they lose the buy they will still have home field until the championship game where they know how to play in the cold anyways.

I'm so torn. Cause while his health is obviously most important, it's the playoffs where anything can happen. Having that one less game to win is huge. I think I'd sit Mahomes for Saturday's game and play Mahomes the last two.

There’s really no point in throwing Mahomes out there 1 legged. Texans, Broncos, and Steelers all have DLine that will get after (and def hit a slower not as evasive) Mahomes which could put him in even worse shape.

Gotta rely on the excellent coaching staff to try to get Wentz to navigate through 3 playoff teams and not risk your Super Bowl chances with your best player landing on IR virtually ending the season.

We just got Harris back, Autry Hunter and Anderson are all absolute Monsters.

Only real shot is against the Steelers missing Watt and or if the Broncos yield week 17 because they already clinched. :manny:

I don't think so. He was already getting cooked last year for his 4th down decisions in the playoffs vs 49ers when they blew a 17 point lead.

Dude will get destroyed if Detroit goes out like that again.

He handles fourth downs like when you play against someone online in Madden. For such a good team, his decision-making introduces a lot of variance in the game...which as you said makes no sense when you are already a favorite.

Coming back to this…he once again got in the way of winning with the onside kick. But now he’s got the injury excuse :snoop:

He’s like a dude who tells a joke and it hits…. but now he’s running the joke into the ground. They don’t even need to play reckless

Gotta see what they have in the higher drafted prospect vet, it’s a good move. Similar to what the Jags are currently doing with Mac Jones to see if there’s anything there.

Dumbass Cowboys should’ve done the same with Trey Lance but they keep winning with Cooper Rush even though their seasons been over for quite some time now :pachaha:

The jags definitely aren't looking at Mac Jones to see what he has..

There's a bunch of internal drama going on down here
