A decision even Matt Eberflus wouldn't make and defend.
About 1:10 left on the clock. First and goal at the one yard line with three timeouts and down ten. They ran a QB sneak, didn't get it, and called a timeout. Forced them to go for an onside kick.
Secondary so assi will personally pay money to help launch Quenton Lake and Darius Williams into the sun.
Hindsight is 20/20. I don't necessarily disagree but the refs blowing that false start call directly impacted McVay's decision. I don't see them going for it on 4th and 10. No defense for the goaline blunder by McDermott thoTBH the games over already at that point the dumbass decision was accepting the penalty on 3rd and 7 on the previous drive that gave Stafford two cracks at the 1st down.....thats a big moment failure by a coach who constantly gets the process wrong.

Him going for it on 4th was more about the fact Josh was cooking and keeping the ball out of his hands, not the Bills D (who were trash) That being said, he probably would've gone for it on 4th and 10 for that very same reason. I thinkk we can agree McDermott is trash.McVay would likely go for it on any 4th down because the Bills D was trash all game....
I understand arguments for accepting or declining that penalty. It ended up being the same result after third down anyways.
The Bills could have gotten a three and out if they didn't used a timeout. That was an absolutely inexcusable decision.
