Sounds like nobody takes him seriously

Sounds just like that Colts coach. If I'm an owner or GM and I see a coach can't get the player's respect then they got to go. That's why it's funny when people make fun of the Dan Campbell types for not being as good at the Xs and Os. The primary goal is to lead the players and get them to play hard. Once you do that just hire smart coordinators to handle the Xs and Os. I think that'll always be more successful than trying to get the "football geniuses" who have never been tasked with being leaders of men.

That time of year again

These owner are pathetic and so is the NFL

Ridiculous. Flagrant abuse & gaming of the rule. If the Rooney rule can be worked so easily then it's time for it to be revamped & written. Surely for the rule to have some weight, it has to have sharper teeth,

Wouldn't like to see it scrapped with no replacement, but I'll take nothing for granted in these strange times. Would be a massive PR own-goal to scrap it at the very least.

Yeah it's going to be hard to move forward with him if these things are happening. If they do move on, I wonder how long until they move on from Tua.
Theoretically they could cut bait with him after the 2026 season, so the out is there if they choose to eventually fire dude.

Rank the opening HC spots:

My list

1. Bears
2. Patriots
3. Jaguars
4. Jets
5. Raiders
6. Saints

I. Pats - Dysfunctional or not, they still got what seems to be their QB of the future AND a top 4 pick.

II. Bears - Maybe have their QB and 80 mil in projected cap space incoming

III. Jags - got solid pieces on defense + BT at WR. Not sold on Sunshine but he's proven you can work around him and get to the playoffs with em. Plus, got some decent cap space to work with.

IV. Would slide Raiders or Jets here. Raiders gotta deal with Pat so that's not all that appealing along with their QB situation, but Rodgers got way too much dip on his chip out in NY.

V. Saints - Carr at QB (LOL) and in cap hell and lot of dem niccas gettin' old.
