My team beat our division rival with backups today even though I expected us to lose. I knew we'd put up a fight. KC rolled over from the get go.

That's because your team doesn't have shyt else to play for. Chiefs have the playoffs to prepare for so resting players makes sense. Not trying to win a meaningless game and risking injury to key players just because.

Resting starters isn't the issue, rolling over and not being competitive is the issue

That's the point, you were also playing a team that didn't have shyt to play for and is bad anyway. Chiefs were going against a playoff team that were in a win and in situation. Totally different levels of competition they were facing.
