Not his best performance, but he took a big hit earlier in the game and easily has the least amount of weapons out of these rookie QB's.

And, by far the most undisciplined OL as well. I'd say it was his weakest performance this year as he took some bad sacks, but can't do much when your WR's get no separation and the OL can't hold up.

Very rational take :manny:

I gotta push back on the OL though, bears shyt is terrible and undisciplined :mjlol:

I don't think Maye is a bust or bad or anything btw just poking fun at the what have you done for me lately nature of discourse on this board :ehh:

People crown people too early and write people off too early. I've said that for a long time and that applies to this years QB class as well.

Maybe Williams looks like an MVP next year, who knows? I will say that when I watch him, he always seems to be trying to make off balance throws and puts himself in positions to take poor sacks. Not saying his OL is good, but I haven't seen the "generational" part of him pop this season.

no homer shyt cuz he def has shyt he has to do better but he on his 2nd HC and 3rd OC this year with a dogwater oline and those weapons we preached about this offseason were overhyped half ass routes and dropping shyt and no run game. His deep ball is legit cheeks right now though, and he def takes some retarded sacks. Waldron didn't have a first 15, or set dropbacks for his plays :mjlol: just a completely unserious hire the more that came out.

He makes a lot of throws that only a couple people living could, it was a touchdown pass that got called back last game cuz the oline held like tards where he full sprinted away from pressure and launched a dime straight to Odunze. Not too many people can do that, I suppose thats where the generational shyt will show up.

If he still looks sporadic next year with hopefully competent coaching then yeah he cooked. Personally I hope all the rookies are good/great going forward because the league is way more entertaining if thats the case. I'm not praying on any of the other ones downfall like a fakkit because thats type weird

Yeah, it's not always easy to evaluate a rookie QB. People want instant greatness and it doesn't usually work like that. There's obviously more pressure to deliver early on nowadays with the salary cap and having rookie QB's on "deals" for four years.

the best timeline is all of them to be good because no one wants to see shytty qb play, its a woat spectating experience.

Overall we thought his ascendant talent could circumvent any of the coaching nonsense we knew was here but it don't work like that obviously so have to hope the perpetually stupid bears org can finally get a coach right.

Drake Maye looks like he'll get it bracking with a real team too so good to ur fandom breh, easier to cheer for the patriots without the aura of Brady shytting on everyone :mjlol:

He's always bytching about something.

I'm not saying I'm high on Mayo, but I'm not one to write someone off after one season when he clearly has a bottom tier roster with a rookie QB.

Some of the comments he's made after games is a different story though.

Roster as constructed is cheeks. It was going to be a mess regardless of who was coaching. Mayo is just being used as a scapegoat for the mess GM Belichick made.

They'll have a chance to vastly improve it this off-season.

They will at worst have the #9 overall pick, likely have the #2 overall pick, and a chance at the #1 overall pick if the Giants can upset the Colts and/or beat the Eagles in week 18 if the Eagles rest anyone.

I would say there's a very high probability that Tee Higgins ends up in New England.

Let's say the Bengals don't want to break the bank for Chase, would you give up a 2026 first round pick, and second round picks in 2025 and 2026? And, would the Bengals do that?

Bengals would. I wouldn't though.

I could be in the minority but stretching out games like this on the regular would be a bad look for the league. People’s attention spans have changed, we watch red zone. There’s only gonna be 6 1p games and 2 at 4p.

Also nfl is all about tradition. Sundays, Monday night, Thanksgiving. Anything else idk gives ‘meaningless NBA regular season’ vibe

I'm going to need NFL media to stop pretending like the Bengals are scary OR have a chance to make the playoffs. They're 10th with 2 weeks left in the regular season fighting over a single spot in the AFC.

The Broncos could lose this game to the Bengals and still be above them if they beat the Chiefs who are all resting next week.
The Dolphins are playing the Browns and Jets
The Colts are playing the Giants and Jags
