They won't sack Borthwick now. He's made it out of the group. And if they lose to Fiji the RFU excuse will be they ran Wales close and beat Australia no easy games rhetoric. Tbh I doubt he was going to get sacked even if England didn't make it out of the group unless they got absolutely raped pillaged and plundered by Argentina and Japan. The RFU have financial issues so I doubt they wanted to pay out for another coach and staff after sacking Eddie not too long ago.

While results are important it's the performance that concerns me. I dont see improvements and too many mental/concentration errors are happening. A properly engaged team isn't making the same mistakes game in game out.

Fiji were abject. The number of lost possessions was shocking. Portugal were very disciplined and deserved the outcome. They will get washed not week if they don’t correct the errors.
