England play to negatively to often. SA looked terrible for a while in this game and England never pressed it enough. SA emptied their bench quick time tonight because the initial plan wasn't working. Crazy thing is I don't think Borthwick is the man yet but he has kept himself in a job for at least 12 months.

In the final minutes that they had the lead, they should've either trusted themselves to play with the ball in hand and if they kicked it to chip it over or pin them back; they got too cute w/the high ball and they played themselves

They didn't want to play for a try they just wanted to try and hold onto that little lead. SA took the lead once and that was that

I'm still on a high we must finish the job against the All Black on Saturday. Hopefully there will be no rain and both teams will be able to play to their strengths.

Oh by the way fukk Jinx :pacspit:

England under Borthwick is set up to front running shythouse its way to victory. The whole game plan is kicking points strong defence take the lead keep on extending it by pens and drop goals. It's not built for shootouts/comebacks from double digits deficits. Clive Woodwards England and the early days of Eddie's reign where England could go toe for toe with anyone they had the extra gears.

What separates New Zealand and South Africa from the rest is that when they aren't playing well they can still win ugly. Seen it plenty of times when all its taken is 10 min spell when everything clicks with a succession of quick scores to kill a game off.

It's going to be a huge game, can see things getting pretty physical.

Today is quite probably the biggest rugby match of all time :wow:

The two traditional powers facing off in the final for the first time in the professional era :ehh:

A win today gives the victor a very credible claim to being the top rugby nation

Breathe it all in thru the nose and out thru the mouth and let's hope the action lives up

Completely agreed.
The bartender at my spot is wearing an all blacks jersey and I want to slap him with my Guinness bottle… other than that I’m hyped.
