New year brehs.

How are y'all gaming this year?

Please don't let this be just me and @shutterguy posting pics here.

Not a lot has changed year over year for me. Major renovation was 2020 and now it's just accessories here and there. This is just a 1.0 though. I'm planning on moving in 3-5 years and then the 2.0 of my mancave visions will come to fruition and I'm going to do it way bigger than this. It's the house I'm going to retire in so it's going to be done up to spec.

Right now, I'm working on the rec room now (way more costlier than the mancave renovation to date) and I'll show pics on the before and afters from when I bought the house to what it is at completion. Anywho, pics!

Like I said, not a lot has changed. Curious to see what the rest of the brehs here are working with.

Edit. I noted that pics of the games were blurry. Just posted close ups of those.

As usual @iceberg_is_on_fire came with fire setup especially with wall art, accessory wall holders, Wreck It Ralph arcade joint, and all the other detail orientated things he has.

I don't have much, still in Phase 1, Sony 85" screen, PS5, Onkyo 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos AVR (quite a few games are in Atmos) and speaker setup. I will say this, games in surround sound are the game changer. Playing Metro Exodus with the lights off and walking down a dark post-apocalyptic subway tunnel and you hear shyt above and behind you will have you like :damn:

I do mostly driving games so I use the Playseat Evolution chair with Logitech G23 wheel/shifter/pedal combo. Down the road most likely a Fanatec DD setup.

Recently added a Cyberpower UPS unit for battery backup and surge protection. Gonna add a 2nd sub and more Pangea audio rack shelves.

Older pc build with following components:
Coolermaster Silenco S600 case
AMD Ryzen 2700x CPU
Corsair Vengeance RAM (32gb)
Corsair H60 water cooler
EVGA RTX2070 8GB Super FTW3 GPU
Samsung 870 EVO SSD (x3)
EVGA 1000w modular PSU

Home Theater setup:
Sony 85" X900H
Sony X800M2 4K Blu-ray player
Onkyo TX-NR3030 11.2CH Atmos Network A/V Receiver
Denon DNP-800NE Network Music Player
Nvidia Shield Pro
Energy Veritas V63 Towers
Energy Veritas V-5.2-C Center
Energy C-R100 Bipole Surrounds (side and back)
Energy Take 5 Sats (Top front and rear)
SVS PB16-Ultra Sub

Synology DS920+ NAS (Music and Movie server)
Power Recliner Movie Theater Seats (x3)

Fire as always. Love seeing your work and the progression. That audio setup has to be an audiophile's wet dream.

You also made me remember what I didn't do, label things so I went back and did that to some of the pics plus added a few more. Do you ever have movie night for people at times?

Thanks fam, yea the audio setup has been work in progress for so long now. I want to upgrade to Marantz pre-pro and separate amps later this year. The Onkyo is a 2014 model so it's missing some of the new stuff that came after Atmos.

I need to label my things as well, you mentioned a RAID setup, I have a few of those as well, Drobo 5C (USB) and Synology DS920+(Network), I think there is 28TB of storage in each.

Yea, I have people over for movies and gaming. I'm one of the few people among my friends that have a home theater setup so I don't mind.

I'm sure you get it too but the most priceless thing is when someone comes over for the first time and they walk into the room, it's a sense of wonderment, especially if they are into gaming. Like when my boys have a new friend over, they get the :ohhh: face every time.

Yep, every damn time. It’s always “whoa!”. I’ve seen beads of sweat from the driving rig, serious competition between friend lol. A/V setup always impresses and sometimes scares people (the sub).

Dope brehs, sometime next year I’m looking at pulling the trigger on a house and I know the first thing I want in there is at least 1 old school Capcom cabinet.

Although no dragon ball z wall scrolls is disrespectful.
