What are your 2022 predictions for the wrestling world?

- Keith Lee and Mia Yim join AEW
- Bray Wyatt joins Impact
- MJF will win the AEW championship by June 30th
- Wardlow/MJF feud pops off by the end of the year
- Omega returns as a face (with the Bucks turning Face and reuniting with Hangman Page) and feuds with Cole/Fish/O'Reilly, which will lead to a Blood & Guts Match
- WWE continues doing more ridiculous cross promotions like the zombies and the fukking egg
- Bron Breakker will not only become NXT Champ, but will be called up to the Main Roster by the end of 2022 and be a favorite to win the 2023 rumble
- Naito, Okada, or Ibushi will wrestle in an AEW ring
- NXT 2.0 finds their footing....when they're moved off USA to Peacock
- WWE finally pulls the trigger on a Lesnar/Lashley feud
- We'll start seeing AEW wrestlers leave once their contracts expire to join WWE
- WWE will undergo a massive restructuring of operations to further fuel rumors of a sale

-Daffy Rhodes will do something really stupid that'll drastically alter his career
-Terminus and GCW will pick where ROH left. ROH won't come back
-Veer will be released before re-debuting
-There won't be that many WWE releases like this year, but more and more people will ask for their release.
-Proud and Powerful will be tag champs
-Impact will still exist, surpassing any expectations
-Kylie Rae will retire again, this time quietly
-Lio Rush won't retire and will lead an all brehs faction including Shane Strickland and Keith Lee
-A big AEW star will complain about his position on the company and will leave on bad terms

Punk and Danielson will both become AEW champion at one point

Jade will win the TBS Title and the the womens Title by years end

Jeff will debut in AEW where he and Matt will have one last run before one suffers an injury and basically retires

ROH will merge with an existing company

Impact will pick up more WWE and AEW talent but still remain irrelevant

NJPW will open more of the forbidden door to AEW

WWE will continue to do one thing right and two things wrong.

The Rock will actually return this year

Xavier woods will get a mid card title and a decent main event run but never win the title

WWE will merge officially with NBC/Universal/Peacock or atleast announce the merger

• AEW will have it's issues now that they have established talent vs. unknowns. So either they start doing what NJPW does, and sends them to UK, Canada, Mexico to get seasoned or released outright.
• CM Punk won't turn Heel
• Bryan won't win the title, but starts a faction
• WWE will announce the release of Michael Cole, as a means of cost-cutting the sale...
• Plus Triple H will be released when it's clear he won't have any influence.
• This leads up to the WWE Sale, and there will be no retirement show for Vince
• Bron Breaker will get the call-up...
• ... as NXT will be shut down because of more cost-cutting measures.
• NJPW will have feelers for a inter-promotional event with AEW in 2023.
• If the WWE sale happens, then while everything is quiet during the Holiday season, WWE will send out feelers to AEW to possibly hold a 2024 cross-promotional event.

This is just spitballing, but of all the stuff, I do firmly believe next year WWE will sell as Khan just looks to be a 'closer'; a person who comes in, cleans house, makes the most money for the McMahons to sell at the highest price.

With that, I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Cole or very long-term employees, who make the most money because of tenure are let go. This is what always happens when you try to cook the books, saying to your stockholders, "HEY LOOK AT ALL THIS PROFIT!" in order to prop up the stock.
