You can tell who never played Sports at all from Pop Warner to the Collegiate Level. You stop everything during practice or the game for an injured player, if it's your drill an a injury happened that drill comes to stop and the player is checked upon

Coaches already know he aint alright. Only people that matter for him are trainers and I'm sure they were on their way over there from the other side of the field.

Coaches go out there cause they actually know and have a relationship with the player and most likely the main reason cause they wanna know what they need to know what to switch up gameplan wise or who the next man up is.
Whether the coach is out there or not is usually irrelevant cause they can't do shyt to actually help.
It's 2 kinds of helping active helping (trainers, fixers) and passive helping (asking if you ok, saying its gonna be alright). Passive helpers aint worth a shyt. If I see you get shot the last the last thing you want me to do is stand over you staring asking how you doing when its obvious you're in pain. You want me to be active in either trying to stop the bleeding or call for somebody who knows wtf they doin. You'd call me everything but a child of God if I just stood there lookin.
