If it doesn’t get done it’s because the team didn’t want it to get it done, no point of dealing with it during the season

Kind of difficult to get a contract done when the player doesn’t have an agent. If you don’t think so, then look at what’s going on over there in Chicago and how said player has a random person calling teams on his behalf.
