first and foremost - new regime, so they dont feel attached to him
apparently he has maturity issues and didnt handle starting OTAs on the second unit - they also asked him to play some guard and he thinks hes a tackle
he also has injury concerns long term with his back
i think the new regime and coaching staff just dont want to deal with any BS to set a tone and Teven responded poorly to it
he has a ton of talent, but the injury & maturity issues have been flagged since before the draft

I remember a lot of people being high on him so I was a little surprised to see this
He actually fell a bit in the draft because of his back issues. He’s super talented/athletic but just not focused / mature. Ryan Poles (GM) & Ian Cunningham (Asst GM) are both former OL guys, so I trust them on evaluating OL talent. I think Teven came into OTAs expecting to be given starting reps and hasn’t put in the work to deserve it and the relationship soured. They also want to try him at guard and he thinks he’s a tackle
