True. Although I don't know about her journalism and sources never having been questioned before. It sticks out as a little odd that she just kind've disappeared from ESPN and didn't immediately catch on elsewhere fulltime.

I know for a while after she left ESPN, she went into business for herself before she ended up with CBS Sports, which is where she is now. I always thought that ESPN did her dirty as they weren't propping her up like that compared to the other NFL people that they have eventhough she was breaking more stories than a lot of people they have there.

Looks like the 49ers were counting on moving him in a trade to free up $25 mil of cap space. Him getting surgery made him ineligible to trade, blowing that plan up, and also guaranteeing he got his roster bonus for being on the team at the start of the league year. It's so late into the offseason that we're basically in the preseason. Anyone trading for Garoppolo is going to want the 49ers to cover part of his salary at this point. The 49ers are about to get stuck holding the bag by having to just release him, and eat the dead cap space.
