I wouldn’t necessarily call it a given right now considering that Melo had ROY locked up last year until Ant went insane the 2nd half and made it a two person race. As great as Mobley has been, there are other guys putting up good performances as well.

The other rookies putting up good scoring numbers but they’re not touching Mobley when it comes to elite defense and impact. Mobley is actually winning games.
