The Cavs extended him a no-brainer qualifying offer and sent clear signals to the rest of the NBA that they are prepared to match any offer. Charlotte, originally expected to take a run, filled a center void with Mason Plumlee Thursday. The Memphis Grizzlies, another team with cap space, added Steven Adams in a pre-draft swap with New Orleans. The Dallas Mavericks look prepared to spend elsewhere. It seems opposing teams got Cleveland’s message.

Not trying to sound like a homer but Cleveland has one of the brightest futures in the league. Especially after drafting unicorn. Our best players are all in there early 20s. I’m just happy we’re not treadmill status like a few other teams in the eastLogical contract, Myles Turner money, but Jarret somehow has better stats than him, which blew my fukking mind
