2022 Off-Season Cleveland Cavaliers Season Thread

I’m making this the off-season thread.

I would imagine Green, Mobley, Kuminga, and Barnes are in the mix.

Major concern is still perimeter defense and shooting.

Okoro and Allen are still going to get major minutes so you need shooting and half court shot creation.

I like Kuminga a lot, I just don't know if I trust us to develop him

They have been aight at development recently. I just don’t know about his own personal work ethic and desire to be great.

That a really good point breh, also, KPJ's role in their offense is pretty fluid (like it was here) so he can float between the 1-3, Green would fit in well with them without having to make a decision on Wood.

unless we get a protected first or he's part of a package for another player what's the point? he's both young and affordable, I'm not in favor of just throwing him away for a second rounder or even a high 20's first

I'm going to manifest another positive. Cleveland is going to Draft one of Suggs, Green, Mobley or Cade

Expect some trades to happen after the draft.

Mobley eventually will be a 5 so you'd have to make decision on Allen at some point, same with Sexton if we take Green

I’m leaning towards Mobley personally.

I think him and Allen can work.

Allen-Mobley-Okoro defensively is no joke and Mobley can hold down the offensive production that is still very much so needed in the front court.


I’m happy with either Green or Mobley.

Cavs need to find out who and what Kuminga is as a competitor and as a person. He reminds me of Jeff Green. He has the highest bust potential at the top.

I only see Barnes being the guy if they trade back with OKC and pick up some of the 1sts that they have.

I’m not seeing Suggs unless they plan on trading Sexton.
