What can we do about Love?

much love to him but he’s out of shape and we would love to release that contract.

we just have to hope he plays up his trade value and that a contender wants him. Cant really do that if he isn’t playing or isn’t playing well. Kind of have to force feed him.

Nothing.

He should be coming off the bench for Nance Jr.

What I want to happen is slowly happening anyway. He no longer is the identity and the youngins are taking over the team.

If we somehow made the playoffs this year I’d be willing to attach his contract and a first for something back other than that he’s going to play out his contract and leave will be ready by that time

Not really downsiding on love but for him to get taken over like that shows it’s not the type of veteran team leader you need. I’m not seeing a decent trade to get rid of him but it has to be something to get it done. I honestly want to move Drummond and love I don’t want to make it to the playoffs yet.

I always see annually a random team play far above their talent level and regress due to missing out on talent or having players in a contract season.

I’m good with Drummond being on the squad. If he can consistently give his all and excel at his strengths and cuts out the mental lapses. He’s never played with a roster like this and he can thrive here if he takes it seriously.

I wish/hope Windler can find his lane because he would replace a lot of Love's shooting and rebounding (KPJ/Windler/Cedi as a bench unit would be wild). Love has earned the right to fall off gracefully on our bench, if he can accept that.

im just thinking Drummond may want something over 20 million a season and I’m not sure if in today’s game we do that.

Cleveland born & raised
Cavs started the game cold and were down 16 but ultimately came back several times. This game was winnable but too many mistakes were made. Knicks packed the paint and since the Cavs missed almost all there open three's they lost:yeshrug:

Defense looks legit
