with the gerrymandering the GQP has been setting up for years, this is honestly trending towards a monumental embarrassment. there is no reason this shouldnt have been a red tsunami.

The thing is, they created more red-leaning seats but they also created more +5 Democratic seats instead of +10 type of seats. In a wave year that's bad for Democrats but we may be so polarized that it isn't possible and their plan backfires. If guys like Cuomo didn't allow Republicans to draw dumbass maps in New York it would be even worse.
