Sadly, I agree. I think she knows it too, hence why she was trying to get them to hold off on boycotts.
It cannot be emphasized enough how much cacs (of all ages) are holding back this country from progress. You look at the comments under these MLB articles, it's nothing but angry narrow-minded white men who couldn't care less about voting rights. The same thing under any tax increase discussion - broke cacs whining about Biden's marginal tax increases on the rich. I was reading a Bloomberg article this morning about how EV is about the blow-up over the next 5 years, the comments were littered w/ knuckle draggers deadset on using gasoline for eternity. It's really getting tiring dealing w/ these people man. /rant
And from what I've read in the Times over the last few days, even if they were to pass the voting rights legislation, it's virtually impossible to have the independent redistricting panels in place by next year.
