The ‘E wouldn’t of cut him then. They clearly value him a lot as one.
He was still being paid as an in ring talent though. More than likely he wanted leave if that’s the case because he feels he’s got one more run.

Damn Billie got let go but they kept Peyton? :scust:

Samoa Joe killed it on commentary for the past year and after mania Vince decides to let him go!? HHH must not have fukked with Joe like that since he didn't spent much time in NXT as it is.

edit: Peyton gone too :ehh:

Samoa Joe didn't even become champion in his tenure.

The elephant in the room is eventually he's going to have to have his own 'deavors season if he wants to keep a steady flow of hot ex WWE talent and indie darlings flowing in. He doesn't want that catering stigma attached to his company. Eventually the dead weight will be cut.

As someone said earlier, there is a ton of talent that appear on Dark that are pay per appearance deals that could easily stop if they want to sign someone. Two of the three guys in QT Marshall's group (Aaron Solow and Nick Comoroto) that they've been featuring are not officially signed.
