- Trey Lance is my #1 QB. He reminds me of Donovan McNabb. He is the most likely superstar QB in this draft.

- Trevor Lawrence is too talented not to be good. But like Andrew Luck I doubt he reaches the heights of the pre-draft hype that is around him. He'll never be the best QB in the league for a stretch but he'll be a top level starter.

- Justin Fields comes off as an average NFL starter. I don't see him as special.

- Kellen Mond is my sleeper in this class. He reminds me of a shorter Colin Kaepernick.

Overall this will be a really good QB class. I see lots of future starters and even pro bowlers. However, I don't see two game changers like I did in 2018 with Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. I would take both of them over any QB in this class.
- Lance throwing motion is like McNair, damn, I love Lance. I am sure you would being a Titans fan. He should be going #1 if things were you know, not based on having a spotlight on you which Sunshine has had since he was in 7th grade.

- I am surprised you don't like TL more honestly. He's a lot like Josh Allen but much better as a prospect. I see your point on him compared to Luck but Luck was a monster. I honestly think he carried Indy a lot during his time but like Luck, TL will be hurt if he keeps this playing style.

- You are not the first person to say that about Fields. His tape is nowhere near as impressive as his talent, athletic ability for his size, and his arm. I actually think he reminds me most of McNabb. Lance is more like McNair with crazy scheme versatility and decision making skills.

- You know, I can see the Kaep comparison but Kaep last year at Nevada was consistent, I need to see that from Mond this year.

- How do you like D'eriq King? I noticed you were high on Kyler in 2019 which is a prospect I was high on as well going into 2019 and during the draft and I was pushing that he was the top QB prospect that season over Jones and Haskins.

i could see kyle trask moving up:hubie:
he's big and accurate

but my sleeper pick is kj costello former 5 star athlete who had a great sophmore season but sucked last year, now he's in mike leach system
I honestly think Minshew's success got teams wanting to boost Leach's guys but I think Minshew is a tremendous gamer in the mold of Jake DelHomme.

I can see why teams like Trask. Big, accurate, slightly mobile, and smart is what a lot of these NFC North, AFC North teams look for in QBs. CBS had him at #32 overall as a prospect. I think he will get first-round noise.

Here is a good read on Trask and King in HS. D’Eriq King and Kyle Trask: Texas rivalry continues in Florida

I rate guys not just on physical tools but also intangibles. That's why I say all that stuff about guy's faces. The face/eyes are windows into the soul. You can tell what someone is about just by looking at them.

Trevor Lawrence doesn't come off as a guy who is driven to be great. He looks like he's just living off his elite god given ability. In the NFL it isn't just the most physically talented QBs that become the best but also the ones who are obsessed with the game and driven to be great. Josh Allen had that in addition to generational physical gifts. That's why I was so high on him. I don't think Trevor has it like that which is why I'm not that high on him. With that said, he will still be a high level NFL QB. He just won't be in the MVP conversation every year like Patrick Mahomes and now Josh Allen.

I haven't watched D'Eriq King play an entire game so I will hold off on passing judgment but I will say the little I've seen from highlights is unimpressive. He's no Kyler Murray at first glance.

Yes.

Lamar is playing with far less talent than most assume. He's just raising the level of everyone around him so it makes them look better than they really are.
Russell has a worse OL and his running game is well, below average. Andrews is also much better than any TE on the Seahawks. Seattle has better receivers but that's about it. Wilson is a much better QB to me. I don't even think it's close.

I think Lamar makes that run game more than the running backs. Wilson is great as well. But I don't see him going 14-2 last year with the cast Lamar had around him. Its close but I'm taking Lamar over everyone right now.

I honestly have to give you props on Allen, I didn't see this from him. I really didn't think he was that good of a prospect. Very good and a 1st rounder, yes. I just thought he was Cam Newton lite, naw, he's his own man like a new age Jim Kelly.

This is where I don't really get your hot takes. I thought Chase Young was the best DE in ages and you were like, no, bust. Look into his eyes and soul. I saw the work ethic, film, and ability and was shocked by your statement. In fact, still am.

You need to try watching a lot of King's games. He does all of the special QB traits that all of the greats like Brady, Montana, Wilson, and Young does. I remember screaming to the hills Wilson is as good as a prospect as Luck and no one listened.

Kyler is a different prospect altogether even though he is a system guy like King. Murray has a tremendous arm with elite RPMs with the velocity to throw it anywhere on the field. Plus he has elite accuracy as well. I was never sold on Kyler as a decision-maker. I am still not sold but he's a tremendous playmaker, with great speed to boot. Murray is a unique QB. He is a special talent.

King is a gamer and an elite football player who happens to have elite QB skills as well. Doesn't have the biggest arm, similar arm strength to Burrow. Doesn't have the best accurate, similar once again to Burrow but is a tremendous QB. Throws guys OPEN. Elite decision-maker. Like Burrow, knows when to throw and when to run. Elite elusiveness with great break tackle ability. Is a 4.55 type of runner but runs strong like a shorter outside WR who's not a one route guy like Mike Wallace. King is special. Unlike Kyler, he's been special everywhere. Because of his size, lack of great tools, and being black, I can see him getting dogged but people would be making a massive mistake to do so.

Lamar had a superior team. Seattle is right there with New York without Wilson. Without Lamar, Baltimore almost made the playoffs with washed Flacco two years ago.

Trask will have all the chances this year to make a big jump. We lost our top 4 wr's last year with Pitts, Grimes, and Copeland being the only 3 proven pass catchers returning. OL is expected to be better so we'll see how strong and accurate his deep ball was; last year he made his money on short and intermediate passing
