But that gets negated by the fact that he was constantly doubled and even triple-teamed.

And the guys i mentioned wasn't? Who was tim brown's right hand man in Oakland? Reed had don bebe on the other side of him, as well as an older james lofton on his side.

Tim Brown at least had Rice at some point and Gannon in there at the end who won MVP. Calvin was triple-teamed WITH Stafford throwing him the ball. Bruce and **** played together and with Marshall Faulk and Kurt Warner.

Tim had rich when he was 33 years old!

would you like to know the QBs he had before then?

All trash

Stafford, atleast can throw the football and has put up great years thanks in large part to calvin.

Calvin is most def getting in the HOF, but if guys like harrison, bruce, ****, reed, brown, irvin, weren't 1st ballot HOFs then neither will calvin be.

Tim literally had 19 different starting quarterbacks and Al Davis had the idea he'd be a third down wide receiver for a lot of his career. Gannon and Rice weren't until the tail end of his time. Before then he spent a lot of years catching passes in the middle of the field back when defensive backs were still allowed to play football. I'm not comparing him to Calvin and I won't. But he deserved to be first ballot as much as any player. What's the issue?

RECEIVERS HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING IN FIRST BALLOT.

:damn: why not????
Maybe I worded that wrong. He isn't a lock to be first ballot. Look at all the great receivers that have played the past 20 years with stats just as good or better then CJ's who had to wait year's before they got the call.
