I'm saying drop the gun control topic. It's not happening so drop it. With CRT hell you can drop that as well, since it's just the flavor of the month issue for Republicans. Go on the offensive for once. Show how your education policies are advancing Americans in the math and science department or whatever. Spin whatever they say into a positive. Don't be on defense all the time because eventually your defense will fail.

Right after using reconciliation, the democrats should have ran a full court press on cancelling student loans forcing republicans to take the blame for it not going through. But they aren’t ruthless like that.

This is VERY BAD. The Republicans have started to turn the tide starting tonight if/when Younkin goes on to win the Governor's race. Then you got a GOP sweep on top of it. This is not a good look for Dems in anywhere local, state, or national.
Biden might as well scrap his legislation and go back to the drawing board. 2022-2024 ain't looking good at all for the Democrats or the country.
So What exactly can the dems do to rally support in swing states at this point?
Because evidently the identity politics this is turning off whites AND other minorities quiet as kept.
The mask and vaccine mandates, though necessary, seem to be very unpopular and everyone just wants to go back to normal...
infrastructure and healthcare doesn't seem to be enough to galvanize people, even if they print out more stimulus checks, the gop will counter that the "inflation" argument.
The economy is in a real funky spot right now to say the least.

A few of us have said it for a while, have an actual economic agenda that makes the lives of the poor and middle class better.
Most Americans vote against their interests because the national parties agenda is for the top 10%. Start talking about that and how we can change laws that will help you.
It will never happen because both parties work for the wealthy and elite donor class, but that’s how you excite people.
Obama won in 2012 by calling Romney an out of touch yuppie. Dems can’t and won’t do that because they are the out of touch yuppie and work for them.

The midterms are gonna be bad for Dems. With voter suppression and gerrymandering Dems will have to win 6 points to maintain the control they have for Congress. Anything less than that is GQP control of the house and some state gubernatorial races having the GQP winning. Only thing Dems may win is more senate seats but we will be back to the divided govt crap that Obama had to endure in 2010 on. Also Biden has to understand he isn’t Obama. Obama win in 2012 because he was well liked by the Dem base. Also black voters were determined to give him a second term. Black voters in 2024 won’t be as forgiving. They wanted results with police reform and voting rights. Nothing happened so here we are. His poll numbers are really bad especially with Democrats. If you don’t energize the base with anything then they won’t come out to vote not to mention voter suppression on top of that. In the end Biden needs to get his team to figure out how to get out the morass he is in.
